Business Strategy

The Business Strategy of Organic Development Corporation is to leverage Guyanese talent that reside abroad and to develop a platform of collaboration to create wealth and a better life for Guyanese. The Company will contribute to Guyana’s development by pursuing business opportunities in the Oil and Gas Industry as well as in the traditional sectors such as agriculture, extractive industries and in the general consulting and management services.

Development requires Human Capital, and in this regard, ODC will help bring together Guyanese Diaspora, International business entities, and Local Companies in teaming arrangements and partnerships with the Agencies of Government to deliver the Human Capital, Innovation and Technologies to implement development programs.

We will enter the Guyana market early in the life of the development projects beginning 2020 with the “low-hanging-fruit” opportunities that will impact the ecosystems of the development program.

We will set Transformative Standards in every program we are engaged to undertake.

Our decisions will be data-driven; we will do the research, get the facts, make the plans, get the job done, and enabling the transference of capabilities…thus building capacity as we go.

We will establish strategic partnerships and teaming relationships with local and international businesses.

We will ensure that there is transparency and accountability through periodic reporting on earned value and quality management.

Delivering successful high-quality projects and services to the satisfaction of our clients at competitive prices is fundamental to our strategy for success.

ODC is vested in the well-being of the people of Guyana, and it will deliver social and economic development to the communities it serves through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs as determined by the Directors. Youth Development will be a continual program at ODC.
